Current Volunteer Opportunities

5th of July Cleanup On the 5th of July our beaches need a good cleaning after the Independence Day celebrations from the night before. Show your patriotic spirit, and how much you care for our precious environment, by helping us gather the fireworks and other debris that will be left behind. Now that we are in our rainy season, it is extremely important to collect this trash before it has a chance to pollute our waterways. Help us keep our environment and waterways free from this harmful litter! Keep Lee County Beautiful will provide you with all of the supplies needed, you just need to show up and be ready to help make a difference! We will be meeting at two locations; the Sanibel Causeway Islands and Lynn Hall Memorial Park on Fort Myers Beach. For your safety, group sizes are being kept to no more than 50 volunteers at each site. Volunteers of all ages are welcome and any individual, family, school, group, place of worship, business or government entity can participate. 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM 2020 Volunteer Locations: (Additional locations may be added) Lynn Hall Park - 950 Estero Blvd., Fort Myers Beach 33931 Sanibel Causeway Islands *Please note there is a $6.00 toll if coming from off the island
